David Glasser & Anna Frick – Award winning “master-terers”

After two years of songwriting and recording, Slopeside’s fifth album released this month. | No Depression reviewed Austin singer-composer Curtis McMurtry’s third release and found it fitting for these times. | Ngoma Zethu’s project is more than an album, and fittingly is released alongside a series of talks on panafricanism; the first one is this week.

Songwriters, the Mechanical Licensing Collective is up and running. Are you registered?

If you administer your own publishing, you need to register your musical works with the Mechanical Licensing Collective to get paid by digital music services. Besides paying royalties starting last month, the MLC recently received over $4 million in past unmatched royalties sitting at digital services, and will also be paying those out.

Back in 2008, songwriter and environmental educator Laurie Dameron attempted to answer the question, What Can I Do? with this video. Enjoy some of John Fielder’s amazing Colorado nature photography. (Mastered by David Glasser)

“What Can I DO?” is a song I wrote in 2007 while hiking in Needles District of Canyonlands National Park in Utah… my favorite place on the planet. This is a slide show featuring the photography of renowned John Fielder. His are the nature photos and in between I have added people pictures. Find out more about John Fielder www.johnfielder.com and if you are in Colorado visit his gallery at 833 Santa Fe Drive Denver, CO 80204

This is one of several videos in the “Spaceship Earth: What Can I Do?” Multimedia Environmental Presentation. Spaceship Earth: What Can I Do? a 60 keynote presentation (30, 45 min versions available). It’s a fun, interactive multi-media presentation on the environment using live music, powerful images and great storytelling by Billboard award winning musician Laurie Dameron!

In March of 2020, I recorded two versions that are now available on Youtube:
60 minute geared towards adults: https://youtu.be/Byx1WMNCzEM?
60 minute for kids: https://youtu.be/louhuW1bpo4?

I am so excited that I now can reach around the world with this message with simple things we can all do NOW that can make a huge difference and secure a healthy future for our children and next generations!
