Quote of the Week|

Adrienne Osborn on Facebook, May 17th:

Last night on the way home from the Pioneer Inn, on a curvy mountainous section of 119, we almost hit a girl who jumped out into the road waving her arms wildly. Turns out she (or her guy, not sure who was driving) had swerved to avoid hitting a deer, and they flipped the car twice down a steep embankment into the river. The car ended right-side up, but in a couple feet of icy river water. They were relatively unharmed but as we all made our way down the mountain, the girl started to whimper, saying she couldn’t feel her arm, and her ribs and belly hurt a lot and it hurt to breathe. We took them to the ER. I really hope they are OK.

It just reminded me: Be safe when driving, especially on curvy wet mountainous roads late at night. Life can change in an instant.
