OK, whose little brothers just bought into a music venue? Well, someone’s did, because Westword reports that the new music venue opening inside Pearl’s is called Your Mom’s House.
James Bedwell and Joe Dan Hite are now co-owners, along with Pearl’s owner Tucker Schwab, of the bar and venue at 603 E. 13th Ave. (formerly Beauty Bar and the Snake Pit before that). Pearl’s has been struggling and only raised 5 percent of its $60,000 goal in a recent Indiegogo campaign.
In an effort to give the place a boost, they’ll start booking punk bands for Monday nights and metal bands on three Sundays out of each month, according to Westword’s Jon Solomon.
