. . . Charles Denler, the Emmy Award-winning composer who lives in Highlands Ranch, took on an unusual job last month, that of writing a theme song for the Colorado Rockies. The resulting composition, a sweeping two-minute orchestral piece called “Take the Field,” will be played by the Rockies at the top of every game, with shorter snippets expected to show up in commercials for the team and at key moments during games.
