2014 Douglas County Guitar Show & Colorado Luthier Expo – Saturday, June 28th
DMEvarts, LLC is pleased to announce that the 2014 Douglas County Guitar Show & Colorado Luthier Expo will be on Saturday, June 28th at the Lutheran High School in Parker, CO. Vendor tables start as low as $50.00 and even less if you exhibited last year. Copy and paste this link into your browser to register if the link does not work: http://i62745.wix.com/2014-guitar-show
If you want to exhibit or sell at the show, register early and select the best table, booth, and/or sponsorship options that fit your needs as soon as possible. You won’t be billed until after May 1st. Reserving your space and making a commitment now helps us budget the radio and other advertising campaigns that are planned.
This year we will give away a near-mint 2001 Vintage Sunburst finished Epiphone/Gibson “Dot” guitar with a hard shell case as our high-end door prize. The opportunity to win this over $400 value instrument should help to encourage a great turnout!
Now, to all my out of state Facebook friends that have not yet made vacation plans for the summer. The Rocky Mountain region has a great deal to offer! Please consider visiting our nation’s “Purple Mountains Majesty” and consider including a side trip to Parker Colorado on June 28th – This guitar show will be a “must-see” destination!
Stan is a co sponsor of this show and will be doing a luthier presentation focusing on a 1962 Fender Jazz-master electric guitar restoration. Be sure to “save the date”!
If you haven’t reserved your space – do it soon! – I just feel like something good is about to happen…

Presented by Swallow Hill Music, and hosted by the Denver Theatre District and Denver Arts & Venues, Make Music Denver strives to bring out the musician in each of us, through free workshops, concerts, a giant open stage, and more.
Each year on June 21, music is the focus around globe in celebration of Make Music Day. In 2012, Denver joined the list of cities bringing Make Music Day to their community. This year, the epicenter of Make Music Denver is at the Denver Performing Arts Complex and features two stages and two workshop areas that will feature programming throughout the day. Guest artists include Opera Colorado, Colorado Conservatory of Dance, Bevan Frost, aka laser bunny, ATOMGA, the Denver Uke Community, and Trunko, Kirkland & Kull.
In addition, any interested performers can sign up for an open stage slot, or take their act to the streets surrounding the Denver Performing Arts Complex. Workshops and sing-a-longs are open to all levels of musicians. Workshop topics include ukulele, guitar, harmonica, paper instrument-making, guitar-making, and a live podcast by Martin Gilmore.
Make Music Denver is just one of the many ways that Swallow Hill Music is celebrating its 35th anniversary year. Our unique community has been built over the years by musicians and music lovers who appreciate the ability of music to bring people together in the classroom and on stage. The Make Music Denver event does just that, bringing people together through music and furthering both our long held value that music can be accessible and enriching for all, and our future hope to deliver more music to more people in more places throughout Denver and Colorado. By partnering with the Denver Theatre District and Denver Arts & Venues, Make Music Denver brings Swallow Hill Music’s experiential method of appreciating music north to the downtown Denver community.
